Hi again. I apologize for my long absence. This blog isn’t a one-dog show; if it were, things would be pretty different around here. Like way more doggy treats, snuggles & cats to terrorize, no-no, I meant to say “cats to play with.”
Because it’s a dog & mom show, we are reliant on each other. My job is to create the excitement & Mom’s job is to type it & hit publish. This summer, I found out that when Mom squeaks & whistle while trying to breathe, her blogging capabilities fall right off the cliff into a giant black hole of nothingness, nada; she doesn’t even open her typing machine. She did manage to remember to feed me & that’s what’s most important & I’m incredibly grateful for that. I’m also thankful for Mom’s sis-in-law & friends that brought her food when that horrible virus grabbed Mom by the neck & threw her in bed for two weeks.
Finally, I had to put a paw or two down; I noticed a couple of weeks went by without any squeaks & whistles, yet no blogging action was happening. I mean, I have a reputation to uphold & responsibilities to my readers. I want Mom to take this endeavor more seriously, so after a heart to heart, literally, heart to heart. I was standing up, Mom’s cute little cheeks between my paws as I gazed into her eyes, trying to be all serious yet not lick her cuz she mostly hates the big, long wet licks, but convince her to get back to my Otis blog business.
I gave My Mama a few great posts to help her get back into the swing of things.
- The morning two new 4-legged friends came out of the woods to play in the pouring rain.
- My encounter with a white striped back cat was incredibly stinky.
- What is Moms deal with sticks?
- The side-by-side & batman
Fair warning, some of the titles might change, but the content will be the same.
I hope you all had a fun summer & managed to avoid all the annoying biting bugs & the invisible, nasty, nasty inhaled bug.
